California Turkish American Chamber of Commerce (CATA Chamber) hosted a reception on Monday to gather Turkish and U.S. businessmen. ConnecTA which stands for “connecting Turkish and American businesses” was held at Hyatt Regency Irvine on May 10, 2010. Among participants were Consul General of Turkiye Hakan Tekin, Newport Beach Mayor Keith Curry, and Governor of Mardin Hasan Duruer.

California Turkish American Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2004 in Los Angeles to support Turkish and American entrepreneurs with the goal of introducing the two countries while creating successful and effective business relationships.
